The module includes automated calibration for error correction and supports a wide range of input types, including RTD short-circuit detection and user-defined range scaling. High, high-high, low, and low-low alarm detection and reporting are also supported. The module includes fault reporting support, diagnostic point fault contacts, and flash memory for future upgrades. The temperature can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and rate-of-change alarms are configurable per input channel. Configurable channel alarm and fault interrupt support enhances system safety.
